TNR resources and support
In our local communities of Kent (south King County) and Morton (Lewis County), Neko Node Foundation is able to help with trapping and spay/neuter (and vaccination!) of feral and semi-feral cats. Kittens can become pregnant at just 4 months old, and produce several litters a season – it doesn’t take long for a population to become overwhelming. By spaying/neutering feral/unsocialized cats and returning them to their familiar territories with shelter and food support, populations can be brought under control. Many kittens born outside suffer and die needlessly, and we aim to prevent this dire fate for as many as we can.
